Biography

Dr Lloyd B. Gayle is Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery Weill Medical College of Cornell University and Director of Plastic Surgery. He graduated New York University School of Medicine with honors in 1983. He successfully completed a General Surgery Residency including a fifth year as Chief Resident at Booth Memorial Medical Center - NYU. Afterwards he pursued a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at New York Hospital / Cornell Medical Center for two years followed by a one year fellowship at Ralph K. Davies Medical Center for Microsurgical Replantation Transplantation.

Dr. Gayle is a Board Certified General and Plastic Surgeon and is an active member in several noted professional organizations including the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has been published numerous times in professional journals.
